by Dalareich Polot, Bohol’s Chocolate Princess, is the first Filipina to receive the prestigious Goldman Sachs/Fortune Most Powerful Women Global Award at the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit in California, USA this October, 2022. Polot is chosen for the award along with an Egyptian woman.
In her facebook post, she expressed how happy she is with the recent award. What’s making her to be very ecstatic is the grant that she can use to pay-it-forward on her adopted communities.
The past days have been a mixture of emotions after i received an unexpected announcement that i’ll be receiving the 15th Annual Fortune/ Goldman Sachs Global Women Leader Award. I am extremely honored to be the first Filipina to be conferred this prestigious award at “Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit” in California in the next few days. I am also very ecstatic that it comes with a grant that i can utilize to pay-it-forward to my adopted communities.

She also posted the invitation letter from the Goldman Sachs Foundation for her to attend the 2022 Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit to be held this October in Laguna Niguel, California. The foundation will cover the travel and hotel expenses for her to join the summit and receive the award.

She shared also that she is also eager to listend and network with women leaders and CEOs that she will meet during the summit which includes Melinda Gates.

I’m so looking forward to engage with women leaders who will be at the event which includes Melinda Gates, US government women representatives from different states, women CEOs from Fortune 500 companies network and many other amazing women who i usually just read in books or watched on TV.

As a back story, Goldman Sachs and Fortune partner yearly awards one of the 10,000 Women graduates with the Global Women Leaders Award who receives a grant for their paying it forward project to benefit their community. Dalareich Polot was one of the Goldman Sachs scholars in 2011 under 10,000 Women Business Training Program in partnership with University of Asia and the Pacific and IESE Business School.
